Sunday, May 17th - Volta Park

The first Concert will be held on Sunday, May 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in Volta Park and will feature Georgetown’s favorite singer-songwriter Rebecca McCabe accompanied again this year by the fantastic Human Country Jukebox band, including band member Jack Gregori who is currently competing for “Team Adam” on NBC’s The Voice! It should be an exciting concert! There will also be fun May Day activities and tasty treats for the whole family!

Sunday, June 21st - Volta Park (Father's Day)

Grab your dad and don your dancing shoes for the fabulous father’s day concert on Sunday, June 21st  in Volta Park from 5:30 to 7:00 PM – including a performance by another star of The Voice, Paul Pfau and his Pop/Rock band, presented by Gypsy Sally’s. In addition to great music, there will be chair massages for dads, special family photos taken, plus sweet and savory edibles for all.

At this concert there will be complimentary chair massages especially for dads, special free family photos and sweet treats for the whole family. Bring your picnic, or visit the Rocklands food truck. As always there will be free Haagen-Dazs ice cream cones, Sprinkles cupcakes, and many other treats at sponsors’ tables.

Sunday, July 12th - Rose Park

Beat the summer heat at the final Concert of the season on Sunday, July 12th in Rose Park from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.  Concertgoers will tap toes and sway to the Roots Rock/Americana band The Walkaways, presented by Gypsy Sally’s. And as always our sponsors will have special treats and activities for cooling off.

Every year the Concerts in the Parks series draws ever larger crowds of families and friends of all ages from the Georgetown community and beyond because of the great bands, fun family activities, free treats and recent addition of food trucks. The 2015 season promises to be among the best yet thanks to the generosity of our loyal sponsors and the dedication of our hard working committee, including: chair Hannah Isles, Jennifer Altemus, Robin Baker, Betsy Cooley, Renee Esfandiary, Kelly Doolan, Jessica Heywood, Kathleen Jenkins, Michelle Korsmo, Amy Kuhnert, Amy Looney, Leslie Maysak, Elizabeth Miller, Erin Mullan, Tina Nadler, Ginny Poole, Shannon Pryor, Jennie Reno, Colman Riddell, Reagan Smith, Erin Sobanski, Elena Tompkins, Madeline Wade, Dorothy Williams, and Trish Yan.
